Ariana Grande Cancels Two Concerts Due To An ‘Allergic Reaction To Tomatoes’

Ariana Grande is without a voice!

The 25-year-old shared on Instagram that she has had to reschedule two Florida shows in Tampa and Orlando due to “an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes.”

The Sweetener songstress detailed her newfound allergy (below) on Wednesday:

“update: we discovered ….. that ….. i had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes and my throat pretty much closed. still feels like i’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress! thank u all for your love and understanding. can’t wait to get back to performing and to make it up to Tampa and Orlando in November.

So sorry, girl!!

This break is probably coming at a good time, especially because Ari has been so candid with sharing how touring has had a negative effect on her mental health. As we reported, she responded to an admirer on Twitter who asked if touring has been positive for her:

“i don’t think it is. honestly. it’s been v hard. i have sm on my mind and it’s so heavy and no energy to process or work thru any of it but i’m trying hard. and i have the twins. and seeing u all is so nice. but it’s hard emotionally. i wish it were a year ago. i’d give anything.”

In a now-deleted response to a fan asking if music has been helping her heal, Miz Grande tweeted:

“making it is healing, performing it is like reliving it all over again and it is hell.”

So just how serious is what she’s detailing on social media? Serious enough to show up on a brain scan! Two years after the Manchester Arena bombing at her concert, the Grammy Award winner shared “terrifying” images of her brain scan which shows the result of her PTSD. She later apologized to fans via her IG Story:

“didn’t mean to startle anyone with my brain thingy. it just blew me away. i found it informative and interesting and wanted to encourage y’all to make sure you check on your brains/listen to your bodies/take care of yourselves too. i love science and seeing the physical reality of what’s going on in there was incredible to me. i mean i feel it all the time, but seeing it is totally different and super cool. someday, when i’m feeling ready or when i’m more healed up, we can talk more about it. i am constantly working on my health/learning how to process pain (aren’t we all). everyday is different but i’m doing my best. jus know i will continue showing up and giving as much of my energy as i can and do my best even tho my brain looks like the world map. (that’s why her hairs so big it’s full of trauma…  k ariana, log off) love u.”

Sending you lots of well wishes, Ariana!
