Jason Manford, 40, has hit out at LBC’s Steve Allen, 67, after he made comments on his morning show about Strictly’s Tilly Ramsay, 19. Steve said she was a “chubby little thing” leading to many to speak out on his horrible behaviour.
Awful man, terribly outdated broadcaster.
Jason tweeted today to his 392,000 followers his anger about the situation.
He said: “I see that bitter old p***k @steveallenshow is trying stay relevant again, this time by criticising a teenage girls’ body on his shit radio show.
“I’d love to see Tilly’s Dad rock up at LBC and give this troll the tongue lashing he deserves.
He added: “Awful man, terribly outdated broadcaster.”
Many were quick to comment their opinion on the situation.
OriginalKitten said: “Not sure what happened but that dude is an idiot and no one’s bodies should be criticised by anyone but especially a child’s.
“It’s abuse and harassment.”
Alhealy added: “It’s a shame when a 67 year old man is given a lesson in maturity by a 19 year old young woman.
“Makes you wonder why his parents never taught him. #BeKind.”
In the clip that Tilly shared Steve was chatting about her role on Masterchef Australia.
Steve said: “Is she? Well, she can’t bloomin’ well dance.
“I’m bored with her already. She’s a chubby little thing, isn’t she? Have you noticed?

Tilly shared a powerful response with her one million followers, today after finding out what had been said.
She wrote: “I try not to read and listen to comments and negativity however recently being called out on a national radio station by a 67-year-old man is a step too far.
“Steve please feel free voice your opinions however I draw the line at commenting on my appearance.
“It’s such a shame that someone is trying to make such a positive experience negative.
“This isn’t the first and definitely won’t be the last comment made about my appearance and I accept that and I’m learning to accept myself.”
She added: “But please remember that words can hurt and at the end of the day I am only 19 and I’m so grateful for all the amazing opportunities that I have been able to take part in.”
