Holly Willoughby leaves fans concerned as she hugs a tree after admitting to ‘just holding on’

Holly Willoughby has left fans feeling concerned for her once more after sharing a photo of herself hugging a tree.

The 39 year old, who was recently seen wrapped up in a green puffer coat for an outing, took to her Instagram feed to share the snap with her 7million followers.

In the picture, the blonde beauty can be seen wearing a gorgeous black long-sleeved dress with a sweet pink rose pattern emblazoned all over it.

The This Morning presenter dons a full face of make up, complete with eyeliner, mascara and a red lipstick, as she smiles while hugging a tree.

In the caption, she wrote: "This felt nice today …" with a tree emoji and a green heart emoji – and fans were left wondering if she was OK.

Taking to the comments section, one person said: "I hope you are ok holly can see you are finding things hard at the moment". [sic]

Another agreed: "I noticed that with Holly this week she’s lost a little bit of her spark, so hugging a tree I think felt good for her."

While a third added: "I felt you looked a bit anxious today Holly x still stunning but not your normal bubbly self x stay safe," [sic] followed by a kissing emoji.

Holly’s snap comes after she admitted she’s “holding on” as she returned to This Morning after missing two days of the show last week.

As she made her comeback to the show on Wednesday 6 January, Holly told viewers: “Hello, good morning and welcome to your Wednesday morning, it's lovely to be back!

“How are you, I've missed you! Are you all okay? I think we are just about holding on. Still holding on! Happy new year!”

One week later, on Monday 11 January, the TV presenter shared an emotional message to viewers after rumours of tighter lockdown restrictions began to swirl.

Holly said: “Hearing news like this, be it rumour or tittle tattle or whether it be the truth of what we are facing later on.
