Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osbourne forced to delay moving date to £1.2m home after suffering renovation disaster

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osbourne have been forced to delay the moving date to their stunning Essex mansion after discovering black mould in their bathroom.

The couple, who share six-year-old Ella and Mia, two, recently bought the £1million pad and have been documenting their renovation journey on a joint home Instagram account.

But former EastEnders actress Jacqueline, 28, described how she “cannot wait for this all to be over” as the family had planned on moving into their dream home in two weeks.

The pair recently decided to rip out their tiled bathroom for a white marble look with a huge free-standing bath.

But the couple discovered a patch of damp underneath the tiles that is covered in black spores.

Captioning the snap of the bathroom to their 475,000 Instagram followers, Jacqueline penned: “Stunning. Lovely! Great! Just what we need.

“Good job we did decide to change the bathroom. Cannot wait now for this all to be over!!"

She continued: “Having a moment guys!! This is not all fun and games!!

“Anyone else find it’s ticking one thing off this list but adding four more… constantly. We were hoping to be moved in within two weeks.

She added: “Time to take a breath.”

Jacqueline was inundated with sweet words of positivity on the @homewiththeosbournes post with many people advising her to “think of the positives”.

One commented: “You’re doing amazing!! Keep going. Deep breaths beautiful.”


Another said: “Think of the positives, you’ve brought a beautiful home. Don’t stress over things that can easily be sorted it’s not worth your sanity.”

“Completely feel your pain!! Keep thinking it will be worth it in the end,” a third added.

The family got the keys to their new home in March and posted a sweet Instagram snap, including Dan's son Teddy, to the home account, captioned: “New beginnings.”
