Love Island’s Sherif Lanre ‘to jet on lads holiday’ following shock villa axe
Love Island star Sherif Lanre looks to be putting the drama of being booted out of the villa behind him – with a lads holiday.
The 20 year old chef was one of the original members of season five, and the sensational news that he had been removed from the villa for "breaking strict rules" sent shockwaves through the nation.
But if his Instagram page is anything to go by, it seems the semi-pro rugby player won’t be out of the sunshine for too long.
Following the news of his exit, a friend – who is believed to have taken over Sherif’s page while he was in the villa – posted a meme which read: “Looks like Makarska's back on the menu boys."
Makarska is renowned for its sunshine and nightlife, and is in the seaside region of Croatia.
Following his departure, Sherif released a statement to OK! online stating that it was “poor judgement” that led to his exit.

He said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa.
"I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from.
"I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”

A Love Island spokesman added: "After breaking the villa rules, Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa."
It's so far unknown exactly what rule Sherif broke before his villa exit.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV.
