Taylor Swift Claims Top Two Spots On Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart

Taylor Swift has claimed the top two spots on Billboard‘s Alternative Albums chart.

Evermore, Swift’s second album in five months, debuted at No. 1 on the Alternative Albums chart dated December 26.

Evermore, which dropped on December 11, debuted with 329,000 equivalent album units earned, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Of that sum, 155,000 units are via album sales.

The album also debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200, earning Swift’s her eighth No. 1 on the chart.

Swift’s previous album, Folklore dipped to No. 2 on Billboard‘s Alternative Albums chart.

Meanwhile, “Willow” from Evermore rules the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. Swift earned her second No. 1 on the list, following Folklore single “Cardigan.”

“Willow,” which also debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, generated 30 million U.S. streams, 12.3 million in all-format radio audience and 59,000 downloads sold.
