Strictly: Zoe Ball exposes Gorka's 'incident' with his trousers

Strictly: It Takes Two host Zoe Ball, 50, was joined by finalists Maisie Smith, 19, and her pro partner Gorka Marquez, 30, this evening on the spin-off show. The dancing duo discussed their upcoming routines in a bid to win the Glitterball trophy this weekend, but before their interview began, Zoe told viewers about Gorka’s clotthing “incident”.

As the camera cut to the trio in the studio, Maisie and Gorka were seen giggling.

Addressing what was funny, Zoe told viewers: “We’ve just had a funny incident, Gorka has realised his trousers are too tight for him to cross his legs.

“He’s had a bit of an incident.”

Maisie interjected, laughing: “It’s a weekly occurrence.”

Gorka then appeared to be trying to find a comfortable position to sit in as Zoe went on to discuss the upcoming final.

The EastEnders actress is the show’s youngest and only female finalist of the current series.

This weekend, she will compete for the win against fellow celebrities Bill Bailey, Jamie Laing and HRVY.

Speaking to Zoe, Maisie said she did not expect to be in the final and was feeling “cool” about the big weekend ahead.

Each dancing duo will perform three routines in a bid to gather the highest public votes for the win.

Maisie and Gorka will be performing their Samba routine for the second time, as chosen by the judges.

The pair will also dance their Showdance to We Need A Little Christmas by Idina Menzel.

Chosen by the dancing duo, their third dance will be another performance of their Quickstep.

Last weekend, the pair were awarded their first ever top score of 30 for their Couples’ Choice routine.

Discussing their performance with Zoe, Gorka admitted he was worried about performing a street dance.

“In my head I was thinking, I don’t know if this is the right idea,” he admitted.

“I don’t know if I’m going to be a penguin trying to be cool.”

But after performing the routine, the dancer admitted: “I loved it.

“I had to keep up with her but them two [other choreographers who helped with the dance] are incredible teachers and they helped us a lot.

“We didn’t have too much time.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues this Saturday at 6pm on BBC One.
