UNUSED SS21 Realizes Luscious Low-Gauge Knitwear and Oversized Layers
Following its recent partnership with Richardson, Japanese fashion label UNUSED has introduced an accessible selection of genderless wares for Spring/Summer 2021 collection. Relaxed hoodies and sweaters and brand staples but new items stray from the outdoorsy path the low-key Japanese label set for itself with Fall/Winter 2020, leaning into classic American casual.
Designed by an anonymous collective, UNUSED often delivers playful revisions of classic staples and this season is no different. Hoodies, sweaters and T-shirts have been rendered loose and in bright, playful colors like pink or neutral tones of white and grey. Splashes of tie-dye, translucent textiles and colorful scarves (worn as a belt) lend colorful contrast to the mostly neutral-toned selection, which revels in shades of beige and grey, but doesn’t stray from warm red tones or rich mustard hues.
Visit UNUSED’s website for more information and shop the new collection in early 2021 via stockists like COVERCHORD.
Over in the West, Stüssy showcased its own casual wares for Holiday 2020.
