We tested: Plateaway

  • Order a Plateaway meal box here

Plateaway is a new meal delivery service which only launched in July this year.

And they'll deliver the ingredients for your favourite dish from your favourite restaurant for you to make at home.

They currently have 15 restaurants on board, including The Little Pasta Company and TŌU, and continue to grow.

We decided to test out the service and ordered the "Get Down and Dirty Kit for 2" from Dirty Bones.

The meal box arrived on Friday morning and included the ingredients to make 2 Mac Daddy burgers, lamb fries, and an Old Skool Fashioned cocktail.

We made the food that same evening and really enjoyed the process of following the recipe and cooking the food.

We were super impressed with the outcome; the food was delicious and just as good as eating it in a restaurant (even if it didn't look quite as professional).

We think it's the perfect date night alternative, and will definitely be ordering from Plateaway again.
