Adorable corgis, Labradors and German shepherds were among the dogs donning Union flag regalia and joining in on the Jubilee celebrations this weekend.

Revellers raised a glass to the Queen for her 70 years on the throne as they packed out pubs and bars last night – while many enjoyed a glass of Pimms and bite to eat at street parties during the day.

And while many sported British-inspired clothing and accessories, it was the patriotic pooches that stole the show.

Mayor of Warwick Richard Edgington posed with two handsome corgis – famously the Queen’s favourite dog – outside a florist.

Elsewhere, Houses of Parliament security spaniel Ivy joined in on the fun and was spotted sporting her Jubilee bandana when she was doing her searches this week.

Social media users also found an unlikely hero during the coverage of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, as fawned over Irish wolfhound Seamus – the mascot of the Irish Guards who joined in on Trooping the Colour.
