Bruce Willis rocks high-fashion Pizza Rat sweater
Bruce Willis is bringing a little slice of NYC to LA.
The “Die Hard” actor, 64, stepped out in West Hollywood on Thursday to do a bit of shopping, dressed in Rag & Bone’s $395 Pizza Rat sweater, a knitted nod to the carb-loving subway rodent that captured the hearts of New Yorkers back in 2015.
Along with the cotton, merino, cashmere and alpaca crewneck, Rag & Bone is currently offering a whole range of Pizza Rat-adorned merch as part of its Year of the Rat collection; T-shirts ($125), beanies ($95), coin pouches ($150) and high-top sneakers ($275) are all available.
“Nothing captures our NYC home and the Lunar New Year quite like the resident rodent that’s out to steal a slice of your heart,” the Rag & Bone website reads. “With graphic embroidery, foiled leather, and city-driven details, this Lunar New Year collection is an ode to the pulse of New York City and all the things that give it life.”
And while the brand’s pricey pullover has proven divisive on social media — “This $395 pizza rat sweater is everything that’s wrong with what New York is becoming,” one person tweeted last week — it seems Willis is a fan.
