Do Royal Mail, Hermes and DPD deliver on Christmas Eve?
AS everyone winds down for Christmas, Brits are wondering whether their postal deliveries will too.

Can I get deliveries on Christmas Eve?
Yes, Royal Mail will be running as normal today.
Packages sent out today will not be delivered in time for Christmas.
Hermes will still be delivering, but ParcelShop Collection services won't be running today.
DPD's service will run as normal today.
Unlike the other major postal operators whose services will resume on December 29, DPD will run normally on December 27 (then close on December 28 before normal reopening on the 29).
Any Yodel deliveries and redeliveries scheduled for today will be attempted.
Local depots will close at 4pm today, which you should keep in mind if you're collecting a package.
DHL will deliver today and collection services are open.
Deliveries will run as normal today, and like DPD will take place on December 27 too.
Will post be delivered on Christmas Eve?
Postal services will still be operating on Christmas Eve, meaning there's still time to receive packages.
You can also still go to post offices and drop off points to send items out for delivery, though some services will close early today.
Most services will cease delivery from December 25 to December 28, with some exceptions such as DPD.
When does post and mail delivery return after Christmas?
Post and mail deliveries return as normal from December 29 this year, what with Boxing Day falling on a Saturday and the Bank Holiday rolling over to December 28.
There will also be no deliveries on New Year's Day.
For those in Scotland, there will be no deliveries or collection on January 2, 3 and 4, so postal services resume on January 5.
