Starbucks reveals its Christmas drinks menu for 2020 including a Truffle Hot Chocolate and Gingerbread Latte as they exclusively share their food menu with FEMAIL – including a Friends-inspired ‘The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich’ and a vegan wrap

Starbucks has exclusively revealed its Christmas food menu for 2020 to FEMAIL, which includes a Friends-inspired ‘The One With All the Gravy Sandwich’ and a vegan wrap.

Treats from the US chain will be available from 5th November – 4th January in all stores across the UK. 

The chain has also shared it’s tempting drinks menu, which includes a Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate and an Eggnog Latte.

Also on the menu is the ‘The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich, prices from £4.59 (new) – A layered sandwich filled with pulled ham hock and pulled turkey in the top, smoky butternut crush, sharp red cabbage and cheddar cheese in the bottom and for the middle layer a slice of sourdough steeped in turkey and cranberry gravy.

Fans of TV show Friends will be excited to try the chain’s latest offering, The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich.

The sarnie is stuffed full of Thanksgiving flavours, including a top layer of pulled ham hock and turkey, a bottom layer with a smoky butternut crush, sharp red cabbage, and a slice of cheddar cheese.

Meanwhile, taking centre stage in the middle is a moist slice of sourdough steeped in turkey and cranberry gravy. 

It’s inspired by the ninth episode of the fifth series of Friends, called The One with Ross’s Sandwich.

· Toffee Nut Latte, prices from £3.15 (returning, can be served with new Vegan Whipped Topping) – Our signature Starbucks espresso and steamed milk combined with Toffee Nut syrup, topped with whipped cream and delicious toffee nut sprinkles. Available vegan with soya, coconut, oat or almond dairy alternative, Iced or as a Frappuccino® Blended Beverage.

· Gingerbread Latte, prices from £3.15 (returning, can be served with new Vegan Whipped Topping) – Our signature Starbucks espresso and steamed milk combined with Gingerbread syrup, finished off with a Gingerbread flavoured whipped cream and a crunchy wafer topping. Available vegan with soya, coconut, oat or almond dairy alternative, Iced or as a Frappuccino® Blended Beverage.

· Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate, prices from £3.10 (new) – A delicious blend of steamed milk and chocolatey mocha giving this hot chocolate a deluxe upgrade, finished with whipped cream and a chocolate truffle flavour topping.

· Eggnog Latte, prices from £3.15 (returning) – Bringing holiday cheer to fans since 1986, the Eggnog Latte combines rich steamed eggnog with our signature espresso, finished with a dusting of ground nutmeg.

· The One with the Gravy Layer Sandwich, prices from £4.59 (new) – A layered sandwich filled with pulled ham hock and pulled turkey in the top, smoky butternut crush, sharp red cabbage and cheddar cheese in the bottom and for the middle layer a slice of sourdough steeped in turkey and cranberry gravy.

· The ‘Tis the Season Turkey Sandwich, prices from £3.59 (returning) – Pulled turkey and chestnut, sage & onion stuffing, with cranberry sauce on malted bread.

· The Very Merry Vegan Wrap, prices from £2.99 (returning) – Crumbled butternut squash fritters and roasted red cabbage with a vegan maple mustard mayonnaise in a beetroot wrap.

· Raspberry and Pistachio Linzer Cookie, prices from £1.79 (new) – A butter biscuit cookie made with ground pistachios, sandwiched with a sharp raspberry jam and coated with a dusting of icing sugar.

· Sea Salted Caramel and Pecan Swirl, prices from £2.19 (new) – A soft dough with a rich caramel filling, topped with sea salted caramel and chopped pecans.

· Christmas Tree Brownie, prices from £1.90 (returning) – A delicious chocolate brownie with a layer of buttercream, finished with a sprinkling of gold dust.

In the episode, Ross becomes angry when someone at work eats his sandwich, which was made by his chef sister Monica using leftover’s from Thanksgiving. 

While those nipping in for a hot drink will also have cause to celebrate, with the return of many festive favourites from the Christmas menus of the past.

Both fan faves can also be enjoyed as a Frappuccino® Blended Beverage for those after a double chill this winter.

New this year is the Truffle Deluxe Hot Chocolate, bringing fans a hint of luxury. A twist on the original hot chocolate, this drink is a smooth blend of steamed milk, and chocolatey mocha, finished with whipped cream and a chocolate truffle flavour topping. Ho-ho-how about that!

Don’t fear Eggnog Latte fans, this nostalgic classic will also be returning exclusively to Starbucks menus to complete the returning original festive trio.

Also making an appearance on the menu is the Christmas Tree Brownie, which will be making a sparkling appearance for its loyal fans.

Some customers will also be able to enjoy the Christmas treats at home this year, as there are now 22 locations available on UberEats.
