Gogglebox’s Sophie Sandiford celebrates 26th birthday with bouncy bronde hair makeover
Sophie Sandiford is a Gogglebox fan-favourite, so it’s hardly surprising that her fans have been quick to comment on a new beauty look of hers.
Posting a glamorous selfie to her Instagram page, Sophie is pictured with her lengthier tresses styled into bouncy waves. The look is a big change from what we’re used to seeing the TV favourite sport on the Channel 4 show.
Sophie’s usual ombre lengths look like they’ve been given a balayage and toner treatment to make them look a lighter and ashier shade of bronde (brown and blonde mix). She’s also chosen a glamorous makeup look featuring fluttery eyelashes and a defined brow.
Gogglebox fans have been praising the florist on her hair and makeup skills, as well as taking to the comment section to wish Sophie a happy 26th birthday.
“Happy birthday Sophie you look so beautiful, curly hair really suits you,” comments one fan.
Another says: “Absolutely love your hair!!,” while a third writes: “Happy Birthday Sophie, loving the hair.”
Aside from her birthday, Sophie has had plenty of reason to celebrate. She recently revealed she has passed her floristry exam, and has just become an aunt. Her brother Pete Sandiford – who she stars with on Gogglebox – welcomed his first child with partner Paige Yeomans in September this year.
In other hair transformation news from the Sandiford family, Channel 4 viewers were left in stitches the other week as Sophie tested out a new grooming gadget on Pete, leaving "Rod Stewart" hair.
Sophie finished styling her brother’s crop and took off to fetch a mirror to showcase the results.
Pete asked: "Why does it smell of burning?"
To which Sophie replied: "Because it's probably new.”
"It's not burning hair is it?" responded Pete, worried that his sister had managed to fry his strands.
We love the Rod Stewart look. Petition for Pete to make the style permanent?
