Greene King pubs are closing in tens, it has been announced.
The pub operator is axing 800 jobs as its pubs and restaurants shut up shop.
A total of 79 are closing.
The closures following the introduction of the 10pm curfew which has hit the hospitality industry hard.
Greene King has an estate of almost 1,700 managed pubs and 1,000 tenanted venues across Britain.
The company is said to begun a consultation with 800 employees about a redundancy process, reported Sky News.
It hopes to redeploy affected staff elsewhere.
