KFC unveils a ‘bucket red’ hot wing-flavoured LIPSTICK – and samples are being given away for free

No, your eyes haven’t deceived you – KFC, the fried food outlet has indeed just revealed a new and unexpected venture – into the world of makeup.
To celebrate both National Lipstick Day and National Wing Day, the Bargain Bucket retailer is launching its own hot wing-flavoured lipstick named KFC Crave – and it’s supposed to taste as good as the fried chicken.
For those who like the sound of a Kentucky-flavoured lipstick, all you need to do is sign up here – as 400 lucky winners will be able to snap up one of these limited edition lipsticks. Sadly though, they aren’t available to buy just get.

If you’re still interested in signing up in the hopes of winning, the restaurant chain claims the fiery new lipstick in the shade Bucket Red No.11 not only tastes lip-smackingly good, but also boasts “wing-proof” technology to keep your lipstick lasting longer.
Its eight-hour staying power means you can chomp down on your chicken without your make-up budging.

According to the fast food chain in a study conducted by the brand, “100 per cent of subjects tested confirmed KFC Crave could withstand the eating of two KFC Hot Wing Snacks”.
As you’d expect, KFC’s limited edition lipstick comes in its signature classic rouge, which the restaurant claims provides a full coverage and bold finish.
And if that hasn’t got your taste buds tingling, the KFC-flavoured lipstick actually contains a blend of hot wing flavouring and chilli oils to give your lips a gentle tingle.
Surprisingly, this isn’t KFC’s first bizarre beauty venture.

The fried chicken outlet actually released a range of chicken flavoured nail polishes a few years ago, taking the term “finger lickin’ good” to a whole new level.
In 2016, KFC launched two edible flavours of nail varnish; a nude Original Recipe and red Hot and Spicy.
The shocking beauty product was launched in Hong Kong and was said to be made up from natural ingredients based on the two signature KFC recipes.
