Little Mixs past celebrity feuds explained: From Simon Cowell to Nicki Minaj
Little Mix have provided us with banger after banger for the past ten years, and they're still killing the game in 2021.
Formed in 2011 on ITV's The X Factor, the four-piece girl band went on to win the show and were skyrocketed to international fame and success.
Group members Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Jesy Nelson have enjoyed five UK number one hit singles as well as a number one album during their decade in the spotlight, gaining a huge fanbase at the same time.
Despite being in such a huge position, the girls have somehow managed to dodge inevitable controversy that constantly hits those in the public eye, for the most part.
A few smaller-scale dating scandals hit the girls earlier on in their careers, but there have been only a few significant public fall-outs.
Here we take a look back at some of Little Mix's controversies and dramas.

Little Mix and Simon Cowell's confrontation
Back in 2017, a row emerged between Little Mix and their record label boss, Simon Cowell.
Music mogul Simon had signed the girls after their X Factor win in 2011, and had previously had a good relationship with them, but ahead of the band's fifth album release, that all changed.
Little Mix's management Modest had a fall-out with Simon, which let to them moving record labels to RAC.
The feud allegedly arose after the Little Mix girls sent a strongly-worded email to Simon, listing their concerns and worries with their record label and stating some demands.
It was reported that despite Simon eventually listen to the girls' demands, by that point his relationship with Modest was too strained which led to the band moving over to the other label.
Jade calling out Noel Gallagher
One of the most random public bust-ups has been Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher's argument with Jade Thirlwall.
Last month, the Little Mix star hit back at the rocker after he took it upon himself to slate the brand's BRIT Awards victory as they were the first ever girl band to win Best British Group.
However, Manchester-based Noel voiced his thoughts on the results with some brutal and unnecessary comments, comparing the chart-topping pop band to his and brother Liam's 90s rock duo Oasis.
He said earlier this year: "Little Mix, with the greatest respect, are not in the same league as Oasis.
"Not even in the same f*****g sport."
Back in September, Jade decided to clap back during an appearance on Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
The Geordie stunner was asked about the whole controversy whilst on the TV show, and she took that opportunity and ran with it.
Jade said of the situation: "Yeah, shame really. Because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country, but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family."
Jesy and Nicki Minaj vs Little Mix
Unless they've been living under a rock, any Little Mix fan will be well aware that Jesy left the band in December 2020.
The 30 year old announced that she had already parted ways with the girls, which fans had already assumed was the case following her blackout on social media and dipping out of all public performances and appearances towards the end of 2020.
Jesy announced she would be going solo, and in recent interviews has admitted she doesn't really speak to her former band-mates, despite being so close for nearly a decade.
The Essex girl recently revealed in an interview with Glamour: "It is weird because for so many years we were as close as sisters, together every hour of the day for weeks, sharing beds, laughing, crying, just 24/7 the four of us together and then nothing."
Both Leigh-Anne and Perrie became parents late this summer, but Jesy admitted that she hasn't met the newborns, saying: "No. I’ve sent a few texts, but that’s it. I can’t explain it, it’s like there has to be this distance."
Little Mix even announced their next single is called Cut You Off, which many suspect is about Jesy.
That brings us to recent times, as Jesy's debut solo single Boyz was released last week.
Featuring Nicki Minaj – who previously collabed with all of Little Mix on Woman Like Me – the song and its music video has come under fierce criticism and re-hashed a debate surrounding Jesy's image and whether or not she is 'blackfishing'.
This is due to Jesy – who is white – sporting a deep tan and wearing wigs with tight curls, causing many to wrongfully assume she is mixed race.
Other elements of her debut such as the language and styling has come under fire, but things really blew up after social media creator NoHun leaked screenshots of messages which he claimed to be from Leigh-Anne.
In the screenshots, Leigh-Anne calls Jesy a "horrible person", and tells the TikToker not to make a video to Jesy's new song but to make one on "her blackfishing" instead.
Whilst NoHun has been slammed himself, the screenshots seemed to confirm the rumours that there was drama between the Little Mix girls and Jesy.
On Monday night, Nicki and Jesy decided to do an Instagram Live session for their fans in order to promote the new song, but things quickly took a turn after the American artist decided to have go on a full-blown foul-mouthed rant.
The alleged fall-out between Leigh-Anne and Jesy was on Nicki's mind, who said during the broadcast: "When you try to bring someone down because you see them continuing to try and pursue their careers, you are a f***ing clown.
"And let me tell you, there's a lot of women out here in the US that tan and get bigger lips.
"As long as you're not hurting anyone you should be able to embrace your body, your make-up."
She continued: "You don't have to try and ruin anyone – you're in this woman's group and don't talk about this s**t for 10 years and now you've seen she has a video coming with Diddy?
"Print those text messages out and shove them up your a**.
