Savvy shoppers have shared the bargain hauls they managed to bag at reduced prices when Boots stores across the nation held a flash sale – with one woman revealing she saved almost £400 on her shop.
Posting in Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, one shopper told how she bagged £420 worth of items for just £42 when the high-street store slashed prices by up to 90 per cent – giving her an impressive total saving of £378.
‘Nice little haul this morning in Boots. £420 worth of stuff for £42. Birthday and Xmas sorted. The eco bathroom starter kit should have been £42 full price,’ she penned.
Another delighted customer revealed she saved a huge £166 on Ted Baker beauty and cosmetic bags.

Along with those bargains, the delighted shopper also purchased some purse-friendly Spectrum make-up brushes, socks from Giovanna Fletcher’s clothing line and matching knitted hats for both mothers and babies.
The woman enthused: ‘Thank you to whoever posted about the 90% off gifting in boots I paid £38.60 and saved £166.50!!!!!!!’
‘The Ted Baker bags weren’t in the 90% area but in the clearance section (this was Boots in Bournemouth) and yes there were loads left!’
Elsewhere, other members of the group flooded to the comments to share their own success stories after nabbing bargains – which included the likes of toiletries, mugs and note books.

Another ecstatic shopper revealed she saved herself more than £300 after buying numerous toiletry sets and makeup products.
‘Went into boots all this should’ve cost me £347.50 and managed to get it for £43.03,’ she revealed.
Sharing a snap of her bargains, she continued: ‘Can’t really see in the photo but I got 3 Fat Face sets, 2 Superdry deodorant sets, 2 Superdry hand balm and gloves, 9 soap on a ropes, 5 impulse shimmer fragrances, 5 no.7 lipsticks and mascaras, 14 no.7 make up sponges.’

One shopper left with £347.50 worth of items, including 14 no.7 make up sponges as well as three Fat Face toiletry sets and two Superdry deodorant, for just £43.03
Shoppers on the group were left impressed by the reduced-price hauls, with many even joking that some mother’s had their Christmas presents in early.
One person replied: ‘That’s your Christmas presents sorted, well done,’ while a second added a thumbs up emoji.
Another mum made sure she was even more prepared as she stocked up on Christmas wrapping paper during her shopping trip.
She penned: ‘Boots 90% off! Never find bargains, got all this plus 4 Christmas wrapping paper for £23.65 saving £211.95.’
However, others weren’t so lucky, with one user writing they’d walked ‘straight past’ their local Boots store earlier in the day.
