Worlds strongest beer comes with 67.5% ABV – but you cant drink much at once
Generally beers come with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4-8%.
But now one brand has launched a tipple which is so strong that you can only drink one shot at a time.
Snake Venom is a fortified beer made by Brewmeister with an ABV of a staggering 67.5%.
It's even stronger than most vodkas that usually come in with an alcohol by volume of around 40%.
The beer brand, which comes from Scotland's Keith Brewery Ltd, released the product back in 2013.
Since then it's become one of the brand's most sought-after beers.
The amber-style ale is strengthened so much that it tastes a little more like a spirit, with the alcoholic content to match.
Most lagers are 4%, while wine tends to be around 10-14%, and spirits like gin, tequila and vodka are around 40%.
And the Snake Venom is more than 15 times stronger than most beers with an alcohol by volume of 67.5%.
It's so strong that you're only supposed to consume it in "small doses", with 35ml (a single shot) being the recommended amount.
Each 330ml bottle comes with an explanation and customers are only allowed to purchase a maximum of two bottles at once.
According to Drink Supermarket, Brewmeister describes it as a "sweet, nutty aroma, a fruity flavour with a fiery, intense finish".
It also lacks carbonation due to its high ABV, meaning the beer has a "smooth taste".
The website said: "This beer is not for the faint-hearted, it is recommended to enjoy in small doses of 35ml measures.
"We are not responsible for the risks you may take, hence you can only purchase a maximum of 2 bottles per order!"
New bar set to open soon – but customers might not be allowed in until 2050
