LIVERPOOL have reportedly re-ignited their interest in Lyon star Nabil Fekir.

But the Reds are now unwilling to pay the £53million fee agreed last summer.

According to Le Progres, Jurgen Klopp is still very keen on the playmaker.

A move was close a year ago but fell through at the 11th hour – despite the star completing club media – as the Anfield side were concerned about an old knee injury.

But after 12 goals – 11 fewer than the season before – and nine assists this season, Fekir could get the move.

His market value has dropped, though, because the Lyon captain now has just one year left on his contract.

The United manager has convinced Ed Woodward to pursue younger players instead.

After confirming the signing of Daniel James, developing young players appears to be the priority.

The 18 cases involved in the appeal will take the Court in Lausanne up to August 14, which is after the window closes on August 8.

No replacement for Eden Hazard will be found this summer, if indeed the Belgian could ever be replaced.

TOTTENHAM launch club-record £60m transfer bid to beat Man Utd and City to France midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

While a whole range of top European clubs are interested in signing the Lyon star, Spurs are the first club to make a bid.

The midfielder has a similar style of play to Paul Pogba, being quick on the half-turn and easily able to dribble his way out of tight situations on the pitch.

He is supposedly the North London side's top transfer target this summer, ahead of Giovani Lo Celso of Real Betis, who Tottenham have been heavily linked with.
