Bengals’ Mackensie Alexander leaves camp as police search for missing father
Bengals cornerback Mackensie Alexander left training camp as Florida officials search for his father, who has been missing since Monday.
A search is underway in Okeechoee County, Fla. for 65-year-old Jean Odney Alexandre who reportedly was left behind on a berry-picking trip. (The two spell their last names differently.)
Alexandre was reported missing Tuesday morning, setting off a search that includes the Okeechobee County Sherriff’s Office, Ddeputies and K9 teams, along with officers from Florida Wildlife Commission, helicopters from St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office and four wheelers, according to a press release.
The 26-year-old Alexander this summer signed a one-year deal worth a guaranteed $1.5 million with Cincinnati after four season with the Minnesota Vikings.
