That was the first time this sound jumper has failed to complete and he’s been kept nice and fresh by Alan King for this race. He stays well, likes the ground and is best after a break.
MUMS TIPPLE (2.10 Leicester, nb)
He is already a Listed winner on the all-weather and has shown his best turf form on fast ground, which he should get here. He has a fitness edge on his main rivals too thanks to an excellent second on AW finals day at Lingfield.
MARSHAL DAN (2.50 Haydock, treble)
He never runs a bad race and won the last time he tackled this course and distance. He battled really strongly when second on comeback at Musselburgh last time and is weighted to go close.
