Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants THREE more Man Utd transfer signings this summer as boss plans huge squad overhaul

OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER reportedly wants to make three more signings after Donny van de Beek arrives.

The midfielder, 23, has completed his medical ahead of a £40million move to Old Trafford from Ajax.

According to The Times, Solskjaer also wants to sign a centre-back, right winger and striker for the 2020/21 campaign.

The Red Devils boss is keen to land a new partner to start alongside Harry Maguire amid doubts over Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly.

United are reportedly set to go all out to sign Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig.

Solskjaer is a long-term admirer of the defender – but he will not come cheap.

The 21-year-old extended his deal with the German side until 2023 earlier this summer.

United are also said to be leading the race for Bayern Munich star Thiago, 29.

Solskjaer wants to sign the £27million man this summer – but his wage demands could cause an issue.

Jadon Sancho, 20, has been at the top of Manchester United's wishlist this summer.

But the possibility of the Dortmund star making the move looks increasingly unlikely.

Before he can splash the cash, Solskjaer looks set to get rid of some of the dead wood in his squad.
