Former Coronation Street star Denise Welch broke down in tears on Loose Women whilst talking to the ITV panel about her 84-year-old dad – who she says is "really poorly".
Denise, 62, spoke to fellow panelists Judi Love, Jane Moore and Kaye Adams on Thursday's show (20 May) as the hosts discussed lockdown restrictions easing and elderly people struggling with technology.
Kaye had mentioned a now-viral photo of an elderly man who couldn't order a drink at a pub recently as he didn't know how to use the app.
Denise then proceeded to open up about dad, Vin Welch, saying: "Now my dad, who has really struggled in lockdown like many, many people, he’s such a social person, and has been really, really poorly, and as his health has declined over this last year.
She continued: "He has really struggled with not being able to have people round to the house to do certain things as regards banking and things like that,".
Then the Waterloo road actress got emotional as she opened up about her struggling dad, and broke down on the show.
Teary eyed, Denise continued: "My dad actually is in hospital in Newcastle and I just want to say, love you dad." before apologise to her co-hosts for crying.
"It’s just been really, really tough but all of these things have added to the fact that he can’t understand," she added.

"I just can’t keep up with it, I can’t bear it anymore."
Denise explained in March that she was caring for her dad at home who had "not been well since Christmas" and needed a gallbladder operation.
Denise reunited with her dad in June last year, after being apart for three months during the first Coronavirus lockdown.
She said: "He's got to have a gallbladder operation. He had a bit of a fall the other night.
"So my sister and I are sharing care for him at the moment.
"I drove up hastily to see him. And he wants everybody to know that he's alright, but it was a bit of a shock to the system.
"So I'm coming here from County Durham, where I grew up. It's full of nostalgic feelings for me."
