Fred returns to television screens on Monday night as he reunites with Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo for another road trip, this time around Greece. In previous episodes of the TV show, the trio have been seen speaking to their family back in the UK and sometimes, these people aren’t known to viewers of the ITV series. However, Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix is a celebrity in her own right and here is everything you need to know about her.

Who is Fred Sirieix’s daughter Andrea Spendolini Sirieix?

The First Dates presenter has two children, who live with him and his partner in Peckham and one of them is Andrea.

From a young age, the 17-year-old was fascinated with the water and she has managed to forge a career out of her passion for it.

Not only is she a keen swimmer, but the youngster is an award-winning diver who has her sights set on training for more competitions.

Andrea has already faced her fair share of contests and has come out the other end victorious on many occasions.

In 2018, she won the gold medal for the Women’s 10-metre Synchro at the British Diving Championships.

A year later, she won gold again in the Women’s Synchro at the Junior European Championships but she came fourth in the Women’s 10-metre Platform at the FINA Diving Grand Prix.

Last year, she found herself being awarded two gold medals as she won the Women’s 10-metre Platform at the British Diving Championships and the Women’s 10-metre Platform at the FINA Grand Prix.

These weren’t the only stand out achievements for Fred’s daughter in 2020 as she also won the gong for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.

This year, she managed to get the silver medal for the 10-metre Mixed Synchro at the European Aquatics Championships.

For the same competition, she also won the bronze medal for the 10-metre platform, bringing her medal count to seven.

Currently, she holds the title of being the youngest women’s diving champion to grace the sporting world in the past 29 years.

Andrea also made her Olympic debut at this summer’s Tokyo Olympic Games and for the 10-metre diving round, she came seventh.

Discussing her success at the games, she told the BBC: “I was just speaking to my family and I just started crying.

“I’m very, very proud of where I’ve come … I’ve definitely exceeded my expectations,” the youngster told the cameras.

It also seems Fred’s daughter has her eyes on securing a place in the 2024 Olympics which will take place in her father’s birth country of France.

The games will take place in Paris in three years time and of taking part, Andrea said: “My grandparents live very close to Paris, so my whole family will be able to come.”

Unfortunately, Fred and the rest of the family were unable to make it to Tokyo due to travel restrictions imposed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Andrea’s official Instagram page, she has more than 10,500 followers and has only posted 34 times.

Describing herself in her profile, Fred’s daughter writes she is a Team GB Diver and Tokyo 2020 Olympic finalist.

In one of her most recent posts, she pays tribute to her younger brother and Fred’s only son, Matteo Spendolini-Sirieix.

Posting a picture of her brother in the water, she writes: “My hero. I love you Matteo Lucien Spendolini-Sirieix.”
