Gladiators Ace now a Christian evangelist who wants ex Katie Price to find faith

Warren Furman rose to fame on hit nineties gameshow Gladiators – but did you know what he is up to now?

Warren, who starred as Gladiator Ace between 1996-2000, delighted generations of fans on the ITV series alongside fellow Gladiators Jet, Rhino, Lightning and Wolf, to name a few.

However, after leaving the show and becoming a construction work, Warren now lives life as a Christian Evangelist.

Along with regularly touring schools preaching, sometimes dressed as a Roman gladiator, the star also revealed that he wants to encourage ex Katie Price to find faith too.

The couple dated when Katie worked as a glamour model under the name Jordan, and were engaged between 2007 to 2009.

Warren revealed to The Sunday People: "I feel like God is telling me to help her – to save her so she crosses from the path that leads to death and destruction to the path that leads to life.

"I feel God is saying to me, ‘Warren, Katie might listen to you’. She’s caught up in materialistic things.

"She may look at me like she does at the rest of the world and think I have an agenda, but I want nothing more than to introduce her to God. I want her to be an influence of good."

He added that he wants to "invite God into her life" to protect her from anyone who might want to "feed off" her celebrity lifestyle.

Warren now lives with his wife and two children in the years since his Gladiator fame, and has spoken about finding his faith during an interview on ITV daytime talk show This Morning.

Speaking to Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, he spoke about life after Gladiators, saying: "I know that sounds conceited, but I felt like I was living in the past. You’re remembering a time when you were earning loads of money and you had fame and fortune, and now it’s gone. It was depressing."

He then spoke about finding faith after his Gladiator's fame, saying: "I do believe that lots of people are spiritually searching. There's a lot out there that claims to enlighten you.

"So I really went out there on a spiritual search, because I believed celebrity culture would have liberated me and I'd have this great life, but actually, I found it empty."
