Loose Women latest casualty as viewers convinced ITV is hijacked by Ant & Dec
Fans are convinced ITV shows are being hijacked by notorious pranksters Ant and Dec, as Loose Women becomes the latest casualty to fall victim to chaos.
Presenter Judi Love was the first to break, convinced there was a huge spider lurking beneath the desk.
She screamed, interrupting an interview with panelist Paris Fury, and jumped up out of her seat.
The aim of the game seemed to be inserting the phrase “I do love my big boys” into casual speech, with all the presenters elbowing it into their sections.
There was even some beatboxing – a throwback to This Morning, in which Holly Willoughby did the same.
Judi even yawned while Jane Moore was talking, prompting her to ask: “Am I boring you, love?”
Judi shook her head and said: “No, sorry, late night!”
Jane wasn’t innocent herself, though – and, like Lorraine earlier in the day, insisted she had cramp in her leg and had to walk around the set to ease it.
There was also allegedly a bad smell on set, with the presenters wafting the air around them to disperse it.
Though it hasn’t yet been confirmed, fans are now convinced it’s Ant and Dec behind the antics.
Saturday Night Takeaway segment Get Out My Ear regularly sees a celebrity wear a tiny earpiece while Ant and Dec feed them instructions on what to say and how to act.
Previous stars who have been involved include Cheryl and Harry Redknapp.
After Lorraine and This Morning were both hijacked on Monday morning, fans were keeping a close eye on the Loose Women panelists.
One viewer took to Twitter to say: “Have @antanddec just tried to pull off one of the biggest get out of me ears ever by doing it on live TV?? I need an explanation now! First Lorraine acting weird, then Phil and Holly and then the Loose Women!”
Another added: “Pretty certain this is an Ant and Dec stitch up for Saturday Night Takeaway. Been a few strangely odd moments since Lorraine started, and can’t help but think the Loose Women were acting weird during the links on This Morning. Will need to wait and see.”
However, others were less impressed. One wrote: “If this is @antanddec this is so unfunny ruining all the programmes can’t watch and turned it over. A joke can go on too long.”
