Louise Redknapp's sons sing happy birthday to her as she celebrates turning 46

LOUISE Redknapp celebrated a low-key birthday with her sons and some quirky gifts from her best mates.

The singer turned 46 and was serenaded by her sons Charley, 16, and Beau, 11 with her footballer ex, Jamie Redknapp.

They celebrated Louise's birthday at home with a chocolate birthday cake, topped with colourful candles and she shared the video of the boys singing to her with some unseen friends.

Beau threw a peace sign to the camera as Louise giggled during the birthday song.

"Ahhh my boys…" she captioned the pic.

The mum-of-two also felt "slightly worried" about the presents she got from her friends.

Her cheeky gifts included a £42 cannabis scented candle, a vibrator from Lily Allen's new range and a bottle of Patron tequila.

"When you open your birthday pressies from your mates… slightly worried," she wrote on Instagram.

Louise's cute family moment comes after she might never fall in love again and hasn't been on a date since splitting from husband Jamie Redknapp three years ago.

She also revealed Charley will veto any prospective new beaus.

In a interview, she admited she is still coming to terms with her divorce from the former Liverpool footballer, 47.

The mum of two says: “I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to have a boyfriend because, first of all, the 16-year-old is like, ‘Well, how they’re going to get past me?’

“Sometimes I go, ‘How would you feel if I went on a date?’ He’s like, ‘I don’t want to talk about it’.

“It’s not looking positive for me when it comes to love life.

“Still haven’t been on a date! Lockdown is not helping me in the dating world."

The comments by Naked singer Louise’s comments, on the Spinning Plates podcast, come nearly three years after she and TV pundit Jamie divorced in December 2017 — the year she starred on stage in Cabaret.

He has moved on, recently confirming he was in a relationship with Swedish model Frida Andersson-Lourie, 37.

Louise and Jamie were married for 19 years but rumours about marriage troubles during her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.

She described her time on Strictly as "bittersweet" memory after coming second with pro partner Kevin Clifton.

"I think the circus that comes with it is a really horrible machine. It's a weird bubble," she said.

But despite their shock split, Louise and Jamie are "in a really positive place with each other".

"I still love him. After 21 years together how could I not still love him? He's the father of my boys. Jamie's a great dad," she told Hello! Magazine.
