Matt Hancock’s colleague says he ‘looks forward to seeing him eat a kangaroo’s penis’ after signing up for I’m A Celeb | The Sun
NEW I’m A Celebrity sign up Matt Hancock’s colleague hasn’t held back on the item he’d like to see the MP eat upon arrival in the jungle.
The politician, who had to resign after The Sun exposed him for breaking his own lockdown rules by having an affair in the office, will be the 12th star to go into the jungle.
His shock signing was revealed today, and his colleague Andy Drummond has now spoken about the big reveal.
Andy, who is the Deputy Chairman of West Suffolk Conservative Association, said: “I’m looking forward to him eating a kangaroo’s penis. Quote me. You can quote me that.”
Andy’s remark comes after Matt had his Tory whip removed from him, after abandoning the Commons to go on the reality show.

Matt Hancock set to break I’m A Celeb Bushtucker record as fans plot bombardment
Ten celebrities will go into I'm A celeb this Sunday when the new series starts but Matt, 44, will be one of two stars who'll join the camp later.
The other is comedian Seann Walsh, 36.
Chief Whip Simon Hart MP said today: “Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect.”
It means he won't be voting in Parliament as a Tory.
But he will still remain a member of the party.
This afternoon new Prime Minister Rishi Sunak slammed Hancock's decision to spend time on reality TV instead of being in Parliament.
A No10 spokesperson said: "The PM believes that at a challenging time for the country MPs should be working hard for their constituents whether that's in the House or indeed in their constituencies."
The spokesperson added that it's "unlikely" Mr Sunak will tune in to watch Hancock eat bugs.
Bookies Betfair have Matt at 2/1 to be chosen to do the most Bushtucker Trials ever.

The record is currently held by music producer Naughty Boy, who fans gleefully watched squeal and sulk his way through seven trials in 2021.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Matt Hancock will be returning as a regular face on our TV screens this year after sensationally joining this year’s I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! cast.
"The former health secretary is 2/1 to surpass Naughty Boy’s record of seven by doing the most bushtucker trials in history, while he is 4/1 to be the first departure from the jungle.
"Since joining I’m a Celeb, Hancock has been suspended as a Tory MP and he is 10/1 to resign from the position before the New Year. He is 16/1 to win the show, with England legend Jill Scott the 3/1 favourite.”
