Michelle Keegan left 'in tears and scared stiff' by Brassic season three's emotional scenes and stunts
BRASSIC beauty Michelle Keegan has revealed that the scripts for the new series moved her to tears.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Mag, Michelle, 34, who plays single mum Erin in the raucous Sky Max show, said: “Obviously it’s a comedy but you’ve also got the emotional element running through it as well.”
“When you read that, sometimes I have actually been in tears and I always go back to the start of the scene again to reread it because it is so emotional.
“It really pulls at your heartstrings,” she mused.
“So, for me, it’s hilarious but it’s really emotional as well.”
Michelle, who is married to former Towie star Mark Wright, 40, also revealed that viewers will see her with a very unusual co-star in episode one.
“My first day on set for series three, there was actually a real bull on set,” she laughs.
“Working with animals – that’s not my favourite part of the job, because I’m scared stiff, Michelle admits.
“Even around the animals, you always feel really safe, they’re really well looked after.”
While Michelle may have been nervous around the bull, it didn’t put her off doing her own stunts during filming.
“I had to get into a moving car, that was pretty scary. The car was reversing backwards – it was on a rope so if it went wrong obviously they’d be able to hold the car back.”
“That was quite dangerous as it’s against your instincts to get into moving car, especially when it’s reversing car, and you have to manoeuvre your way in.”
Brassic series three starts tonight on Sky Max and Now TV, with all episodes available.
