Queen + Adam Lambert announce FIVE more UK dates for 'The Rhapsody Tour' and here's how to get tickets

THE one and only, Queen + Adam Lambert have added five additional UK shows to their 2020 'Rhapsody Tour', to the delight of fans.

The extra ticket dates go on sale 11 December at 10am, so you'll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on a pair.

The extra shows will take place on the 8th, 17th, 18th, 20th and 21st June at London's O2 Arena, and follows the September's announcement of a UK and European tour.

Hot on the heels of a North American tour packed full of sold out shows, the boys have brought the show across the Atlantic to European audiences.

The 'Rhapsody Tour' follows the incredible success of last year's biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody which focused on the life of the late and great, Freddie Mercury.

The “Rhapsody” tour, has been hailed as “a marvel of technical advances,” and will kick off the new year of 2020 with a number of giant arena and stadium shows across South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.

Revealing the news long awaited by the band’s UK and Europe fans, Queen’s Roger Taylor stated: "We're back and we're hot.”

Brian May said: “This is a fearsome new production taking the Queen legacy to a new place. I’m well proud.”

Adam Lambert added: “I can’t wait to get back to the UK and Europe, we had a blast on our last tour, and I am so excited to bring this new show over there!”

The 'Rhapsody' tour follows their critically acclaimed Oscar winning biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody", which is not only, the highest-grossing music biopic of all time, but was also the UK's biggest selling home release of 2019.

The record breaking soundtrack has remained high in the album chart since November 2018, and in the US it's even become the band's highest charting album in 38 years.

It's also had a huge effect on the streams of Queen's videos, with the iconic“Bohemian Rhapsody' video reaching a historic one billion views on YouTube, making it the most viewed music clip of the 20th Century.

One thing is for sure, it's been a record year.
