Roman Kemp 'becomes a millionaire' thanks to famous dad Martin as stars are 'inundated with offers to work together'

ROMAN Kemp has "become a millionaire" thanks to his famous dad Martin as stars are "inundated with offers to work together".

The Capital Breakfast DJ, 28, has been racking in the money after landing lucrative contracts with Marks & Spencer and their own ITV chat show.

The Spandau Ballet star, who has enjoyed a highly successful career as a musician and actor, has teamed up with his son on a variety of different work opportunities.

The Mail reported that sources close to the duo say they are "inundated with offers" to star together in ad campaigns and endorsement deals.

The father and son duo modelled M&S menswear collection – with the deal estimated to worth £150,000 by industry experts.

Meanwhile, the telly favourites bagged their own ITV celebrity chat show, Martin & Roman's Weekend Best.

The popular show, which aired on Saturdays and Sundays, was reportedly each paid £10,000 an episode.

There were 22 episodes in the last series and another 44 episodes expected to be filmed later this year.

The TV stars have also graced our screens on The Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox, offering up their comedic banter and hilarious one-liners.

Viewers have enjoyed watching the duo's strong bond on-screen – which has earned them £42,000 per series.

They have also appeared on ITV's DNA Journey together, as they traced their family history during the special episode.

The presenter recently teased fans after he revealed that he is desperate to go grey so he can become "sexy" like his silver-fox dad.

He said he’s used to being second best to his old man in the looks department but is hopeful he’ll mature just as finely.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “That’s been my life. I’ve grown up watching my dad bring home sexiest man of the year trophies. I’m a bit upset the generation skipped a little bit. He’s still the best looking one in the house.

“I low-key can’t wait to go grey. I’m like hopefully I’ll go grey in a good way like him. The person I always think about in this scenario is my mum, because my mum just thinks it’s all just ridiculous.”

The father and son duo’s have thrilled viewers who enjoy watching their on-screen relationship.

The fun lifestyle programme has proved so popular that ITV moved to air it on both Saturdays and Sundays, and Roman is proud of how his dad has grown as a presenter.

He said: “We had Sunday Best and with that going to Weekend Best, I was absolutely terrified. The workload is unbelievable, and when you’ve got the radio show it’s tough.

“But at the end of the day seeing my dad get better in terms of presenting has been really good.”
