Sophie Turner blames Kit Harington for major Game of Thrones blunder
The world is slowly getting over the ending of Game of Thrones, but the HBO giant left plenty of talking points to discuss.
One major moment from the final season was the mysterious modern coffee cup that was visible in one scene.
It sat in front of Emilia Clarke’s character Daenerys Targaryen in the shot, but Sophie Turner reckons she wasn’t to blame.
Instead, she has taken aim at Kit Harington, who played Jon Snow, the one-time King in the North.
“Kit is lazy”
Speaking on Conan, Sophie said: “I hear this every day of my life, this coffee cup thing.
“The coffee cup was where Kit’s chair was.
“At first, I blamed it on Emilia, but I don’t think Emilia would do that.”
Getting her Stark claws out, Sophie, who played Sansa, added: “Kit is lazy and I think he would have done that.
“It’s in front of Kit’s chair and then he moved and it looked like it was in my seat but I wasn’t there. It was Kit. It was 100% Kit.”
Offering up more evidence to support her theory, Sophie continued: “I wear a corset so I either p*** myself or I throw up.
“Emilia wears a corset. Kit doesn’t wear a corset. It’s Kit!”
The final season finally revealed who ended up in charge, though there was no Iron Throne to rule from.
Jon killed Daenerys after she started going mad, having burned King’s Landed to the ground and killing Cersei and Jaime Lannister in the process.
After seeing Dany die, her dragon Drogon melted the Iron Throne and flew off clutching her corpe.
In the end, it was Bran Stark who came out on top, while Sansa ruled the North, Arya went exploring and Jon went to Castle Black to be with the wildlings.
