Strictly Come Dancing bosses ‘ban stars from partying’ after Maisie Smith and HRVY are ‘spotted breaking social distancing rules’

Strictly Come Dancing bosses are said to have banned stars from partying following a strong of coronavirus scares threatening the future of the series.
BBC big wigs are said to have told the cast, which includes EastEnders star Maisie Smith and former The Wanted singer Max George, that they are there to take part in the show and nothing else.
Producers are also said to be keeping a close eye on Maisie, 19, and HRVY, 21, over rumours a romance could be blossoming between them.
Maisie and HRVY appeared to break social distancing rules as they walked closely together with their dance partners Gorka Marquez and Janette Manrara to film spin-off show It Takes Two.

And, it was rumoured the pair were spotted leaving rehearsal studios wishing minutes of each other in the early hours last week.
A source has now told The Sun Online: “There is disappointment with HRVY and Maisie after their partying was exposed last week.
“Contestants, cast and crew have always had a few drinks after the show to let off steam. But bosses have slapped a party ban on the youngsters and reminded them they are there for the show and nothing else.
“Some older crew members have commented that they’re turning the show into Ibiza Weekender.”
Strictly Come Dancing declined to comment when contacted by OK! online.
Maisie and HRVY have sparked romance rumours in recent weeks, after the pair were spotted flirting on Instagram.
But, singer HRVY has since insisted the pair are just friends as he told new! magazine: “We're just friends. I'm here to dance and have a good time.
“You can't see anyone but your partner anyway, so it wouldn't be the right time for anything.
“But Maisie's a great girl and she's very beautiful.”
Disaster recently struck for the show as Nicola Adams and Katya Jones were recently forced to step away from the Strictly dance floor after Katya tested positive for coronavirus.
Bosses were said to be “furious” at Katya as it was reported she may have caught the virus while out shopping.
Insiders have claimed the executives are looking into how Katya could have contracted the virus and have allegedly insisted she “must have broken the strict guidelines”.

A source told The Sun Online: “The BBC’s top brass are mutinous.
“Obviously everyone is glad Katya is okay but they put incredibly strict rules in place for a reason – to keep everyone safe.
“It’s been drummed into everyone that they need to follow protocol at all times – and some are saying that Katya has clearly broken the rules.”
