Towie stars reunite to celebrate 10th anniversary with a ‘reem’ Spanish-themed garden party.

TOWIE stars reunited to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary with a "reem" Spanish-themed garden party.

The reality stars got together and the booze flowed as a mix of old and new favourites attended a festival-themed site for the upcoming episodes – which fans hope will be full of drama.

Fan favourite and vajazzle pioneer Amy Childs was among the attendees, looking sensational in a black buttoned up mini-dress and a pair of shades.

Chloe Brockett and Clelia Theodorou looked stunning in black flamenco dresses and finished off their look with a Spanish red rose in their hair.

The Essex stars know how to throw a party – there were balloons in Spanish colours, topless waiters and traditional Spanish dancing at the bash.

The party comes after the Towie crew, including Bobby Norris, Amy, and Saffron Lempriere were spotted filming socially distanced episodes for the 10th anniversary.

The 10th anniversary series was due to start in March 2020, but ITV bosses decided to delay production on the new series until later in the year.

The new series is expected to air in September – but no exact start date has been announced just yet.

Although the delay may come as a disappointment, Towie fans will be delighted to hear that the show will be airing twice a week like it used to.

A source said: “There have been lengthy discussions with the cast, and it just wouldn’t have worked without a busy social scene and going to clubs and their shops.

“So bosses have decided to wait until later in the year when the crisis has calmed down a bit. It’s not worth the risk."

Head of Unscripted for Lime Pictures Sarah Tyekiff told us: “We are so excited to get the iconic Towie back on people’s screens, twice a week, for what is going to be a huge Anniversary season.

"It’ll be back with a bang to celebrate 10 phenomenal years with our amazing cast and see the return of some very familiar faces.”

The first ever episode of The Only Way is Essex aired on October 10th, 2009 and kicked off with the aftermath of Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger's breakup.

Mark, Lauren, Joey Essex, Kirk Norcross and Amy Childs were among the original cast members that made the series a huge hit.

However, Kirk has opted out of the new episodes saying he is happier "laying bricks."

And Mark has alsosnubbed the reunion because he has “moved on” from the show that made him famous.
