Elite fans have been left wondering what happened to Christian Expósito (played by Miguel Herran) following the events of season one. The character was one of the most important during the first series so his absence was felt moving forward. But where is Christian Expósito in Elite on Netflix?

What happened to Christian Expósito in Elite?

Elite is no stranger to switching things up, with romances, love triangles and even murders dividing the character and changing the game.

The show has been following the events of three working-class teenagers that join a private school, only for their inclusion to shake things up in more ways than one.

One of those three teenagers in season one was Christian Expósito, a fun loving and nonchalant teen and was just looking for a good time.

Things turned south for Christian fast however, as he was soon involved in a murder during season one.

Christian was best friends with Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and his brother Nano (Jaime Lorente) throughout the first season.

He also started a relationship with Carla (Ester Expósito) and eventually ended up in a polyamorous relationship with her and her boyfriend Polo (Alvaro Rico).

This was what ultimately connected him to the murder of season one, after Polo murder’s Marina (Maria Pedraza).

While it was nano that was blamed for the murder until Samuel eventually cleared his name, Christian took the guilt of his involvement more deeply.

The last time the character was seen was during the events of season two episode one, with the explanation of his departure from the series remaining vague.

Christian was hit by a bike during a night out and ended up in a hospital in Switzerland, he was absent for the rest of the season and the show from that point.

It seems most likely that Christian left the series due to the guilt he held following the events of season one and wanted to distance himself from anything like that again.

Christian has not been seen in the show since and his absence has been felt by fans.

Despite this, the cast has changed several times after season one, with season four also set to introduce new character that will be joining Las Encinas school.

In an Instagram post shared to the official Elite page new cast members for season four were revealed.

The post, which was captioned with “welcome to the Elite family”, Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, Pol Granch, and Manu Rios revealed t be joining the series.

Not much is known about who they will be playing, but fans can rest assured they will be mixing things up in true Elite style.

The wait for season four is almost over, with the new season dropping tomorrow (June 18) on Netflix.

Ahead of the season four launch on Netflix, fans have been taking to the comments of the trailer to share their thoughts on the new season.

One fan said: “Bro that new girl better leave Samuel and Guzman alone they finally have a nice friendship and Guzman has come such a long way with Nadia” (sic)

A second fan added: “This show has got some lit music choices.”

Another shared: “I mean literally no one can predict with whom who will hook up in this series man.”
