Who is Lucas' son Jordan and who attacked him?

EastEnders villain Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet) made his return to Albert Square in the Christmas Day episode, leaving Denise Fox (Diane Parish) shocked and terrified at the prospect of her evil ex-husband returning.

Denise took her son Raymond to his local church for a Christmas service, and discovered they were talking about people who have changed their life for the better – only for the serial killer to stand up and talk, leaving Denise so scared she had to leave the service.

While Lucas and Denise are parents to Denise’s daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams), Lucas’ other son Jordan comes back under the spotlight in tonight’s instalment.

Just who is Jordan and what happened to him?

Who is Lucas’ son Jordan Johnson?

Jordan is Lucas son with his ex-partner Trina, and paternal half-brother to Chelsea Fox.

He first appeared in the show in May 2008, played by actor Michael-Joel David Stuart – with his biggest storyline coming after Trina was murdered by Lucas, and Jordan found her body in Charlie Slater’s shed.

Jordan did not know at the time that she was his mother, only finding out later on when Lucas broke the news to him – telling him that the death was accidental.

He was later best man at Lucas and Denise’s wedding.

The character left the soap in 2010 and returned in 2015, played by actor Jovian Wade.

Who attacked Jordan?

When Jordan returned to the soap, he had been released on bail after being involved in a knife attack and had used Denise’s address – which led to her tracking him down.

Despite Denise tracking him down and Jordan warning her to leave him alone, things changed after he was beaten by a gang as he left the Square.

Denise later discovered he was living in a squat, and brought him back to Walford along with his son, JJ.

It later transpired he had lied about his girlfriend Amelle, JJ’s mum, having died – and his son went to live with her after he was arrested for trying to help Lucas escape from prison.

EastEnders continues on BBC One tonight at 7.30pm.
