Camilla ‘choked on tea’ when Harry suggested mediator to ease Royal tensions
Prince Harry asked to bring in a mediator in a bid to mend tensions with his family, causing Camilla to "splutter over her tea".
In her new book The New Royals, author and journalist Katie Nicholl claimed that the Duke of Sussex met with the newly-appointed King Charles earlier this year in a bid to mend their tense relationship, according to an unnamed family friend of the Firm.
However, the meeting was reportedly fruitless, with allegations that Harry and Meghan Markle showing up to the meeting late and suggesting a family mediator to ease tensions.

An extract published in Vanity Fair revealed: "Harry actually suggested that they use a mediator to try and sort things out, which had Charles somewhat bemused and Camilla spluttering into her tea."
Nicholl described the strained meeting as "more awkward than cordial tea with the Queen," with Camilla having allegedly told Harry that getting a mediator was "ridiculous" and that they would keep their peacemaking discussions between family.

In the book, she also claimed that Harry's brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton were "relieved" when they found out Harry and Meghan would be moving to the US.
The now Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly believed the "drama was gone" after the Sussexes announced they would be relocating to start a new life in 2020.
On the other hand the Queen reportedly felt "hurt and exhausted" when the Sussexes moved abroad.
The source told Nicholl: "The Queen was very hurt and told me, 'I don’t know, I don’t care, and I don’t want to think about it anymore.'"
In another bombshell claim, the book also states that King Charles III, who came to the throne following the Queen's death on September 8, is on a mission to repair relations between Harry and the rest of the family.
In his first public address to the nation since becoming King, he said: "I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas."
However, this follows reports that Harry snubbed William and Charles at Balmoral after the King barred Meghan from attending.
Harry had reportedly been invited to spend dinner with his brother and father following the death of Her Majesty the Queen, but Charles allegedly told Harry it was "not appropriate" for his former actress wife to come to the intimate meal.
The ensuing argument reportedly caused the Duke of Sussex to miss his original flight, causing him to lose the opportunity to say goodbye to his grandmother before she died.
