Ant and Dec announced their ‘Dec and Ant’ rebrand, while Good Morning Britain aired a fake Love Island rip off called ‘Dove Island’.

Piers Morgan tweeted he had accepted ITV’s offer to rejoin Good Morning Britain (GMB) after the Archbishop of Canterbury rejected the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s claim that he married them at a secret ceremony before their Windsor Castle wedding.
Breaking his silence on what the couple told Oprah Winfrey three weeks ago, Justin Welby said he signed Harry and Meghan’s wedding certificate on the day millions watched them marry.
The legal wedding was on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St George’s Chapel, he said. In her interview, Meghan raised eyebrows when she told Miss Winfrey that she and Harry were married ‘just the two of us in our backyard with the Archbishop of Canterbury’.

In the US at least, the company said it would answer to ‘Voltswagen’, a reflection of its commitment to an electric future. On Tuesday it insisted the change was authentic, causing its share price to rocket by 5 per cent.
The global press picked up the news, with the Guardian reporting: ‘For 65 years, Volkswagen has been one of the most popular names in American motoring, its VW Beetle snaring generations of enthusiasts and selling millions of vehicles. But now, in North America at least, the Volkswagen brand is no more.’

However, Volkswagen frantically spent all day yesterday trying to explain that its announcement was merely a joke which had backfired.
VW spokesman Christoph Ludewig told the Times: ‘Volkswagen of America developed… a national US marketing campaign, with a wink, to draw attention to Volkswagen’s e-offensive. From the start, the goal was to generate attention for an important corporate and industry topic in the USA.
‘The large amount of positive feedback on social media shows we achieved this goal. At the same time, we regret if, in the eyes of some, we overshot the mark of the campaign.’
