The outlet claimed that she was dating New York Times writer Michael S Schmidt, who is also a regular guest on her show Deadline: White House.

Wallace and Schmidt were seen together at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, in March 2019.

However, a source close to Wallace told Page Six that the anchor strongly rejected the claims, adding, “Nicolle is one of the most professional people I know.”

The source insisted the couple only attended a breakfast together.
