“Everyone who has seen it – women friends, male friends, they all laughed at it after seeing it on Facebook.
“But as soon as they come round they ask to try it on – and as soon as they do they love it.
“I had a family party and my mam put it on and she wouldn’t take it off and tried to leave with it.
“I love my mam to bits but she’s not having the coat.”
David claims he does not remember what he has bought until receiving confirmation emails the following day.
His list of embarrassing and bizarre buys include an inflatable settee, four sets of bongoes, a Chewbacca mask, a sausage factory visit and a tank-riding experience.
David also awoke one morning to discover he had drunkenly applied to TV show Naked Attraction.
He said his love affair with tipsy online shopping started seven years ago when he bought a Smokey And The Bandit poster.
David added: “I love Burt Reynolds and the first thing I bought was the film poster of Smokey And The Bandit. I’ve still got it up in my living room.”
