Steve Harvey's stepdaughter Lori, 22, arrested for 'hit and run' after Mercedes jeep smash 'while texting and driving'
STEVE Harvey's stepdaughter has been arrested for hit and run after she crashed her Mercedes jeep while allegedly "texting and driving".
Lori, 22, was apprehended by police in Beverly Hills after the impact from the collision flipped her vehicle on Sunday.
She attempted to flee the scene after she hit a parked car but was picked-up nearby, cops claimed.
At the scene of the collision she was observed on FaceTime with her famous father Steve, an unnamed source told OK!
They also claimed that Harvey had been texting behind the wheel moments before the crash.
The accident was reported at 9.48pm on Sunday.
She was arrested for the two charges and released on scene. Not booked. She identified herself properly and signed a written promise to appear in court.
Harvey was charged with a misdemeanour count of hit and run and obstructing or delaying a police office.
Authorities do not believe she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Harvey was seen dining in celebrity hotspot Nobu, in Malibu, California, earlier that day with a female friend.
She and Sean Coombes, aka P. Diddy, 49, recently split-up after a three month romance.
The model shared pictures on her Instagram Story of the sunset from a beach just hours before the crash.
Lori is one of Steve's seven children.
He has been married to her mother Marjorie for 12 years.
