Vacuum-mad boy, 8, has over 100 customers after starting repair business
A VACUUM-mad boy of eight has more than 100 customers after starting a repair business at home.
Ollie Grundy changes belts, fixes blockages and cleans bags for £3 a pop at the kitchen table.
He has already amassed a backlog of more than 50 orders for his work from customers across the UK.
He has made £200 so far and aims to build a workshop in the garden.
Ollie, who has a backlog of 50 orders, said: “I want to be an engineer and invent the next Hoover.
“I will try and make it as cheap as I can.
"I’m going to be the richest man in Britain like James Dyson.”
Ollie, who owns five vacuums, lives in Hyde, Greater Manchester, with mum Emma, 32, dad Stuart, 34, and two sisters.
The latest addition to his collection is a £250 Shark Apex he was gifted by neighbours, who set up a fundraiser to buy him one after hearing about his business.
Emma said: “He’s been obsessed by Hoovers for as long as I can remember.
"He used to cry at having to leave the toy ones at play group.
“He absolutely loves taking them apart.
“Hoovers are the only thing he’ll watch on YouTube.
“He won’t watch football or anything, it’s non-stop hoovers for him.”
