Michelle Curran said the A-list couple were invited as guests of her and her husband Joe Lacob to watch Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night.

Beyoncé seems to fume as Curran leans over her to speak to Jay-Z and then appears to give Curran a slight shove when the conversation ends, causing the clip to go viral on Twitter and spawning a series of memes likening Curran to ‘Becky with the good hair’.

But the 50-year-old said she was simply offering Jay-Z a drink and when she couldn’t hear what he wanted, she leaned over Beyoncé.

Curran told DailyMail.com: ‘I have been cyber bullied and think it is very unfair. They were our guests last night.

‘As a hostess, I offered her a drink and then him one as we don’t have floor service at our games. I had to lean in to hear what he wanted. That is it. No story. Just bullying.’
