Woman filmed ‘racially abusing pub doorman’ arrested and banned from Birmingham

A woman has been banned from Birmingham city centre after she was arrested on suspicion of racially abusing a pub doorman.

The 24-year-old has now been released on bail, West Midlands Police confirmed.

She is forbidden from entering Birmingham as a result of strict bail conditions, BirminghamLive reports.

Doorman and power lifting champion Tristan Price, 26, ejected the woman from the pub before a video of the alleged incident, which appears to show her losing her temper and shouting racist slurs, went viral on social media.

After the woman went to a police station herself at request of the police, she was detained on Monday, May 24.

She was arrested on suspicion of racially abusing a doorman outside the Figure of Eight pub in Birmingham's Broad Street between 10pm and 11.30pm on the evening of Saturday, May 22.

Police described themselves as “disgusted” and Chief Inspector James Spencer said: “It’s an awful incident.

“We said we would prioritise the investigation and that’s now led to the swift arrest of a suspect.
